sell a book in railway station

hi friends!!!! i'm back...in this article i wanna tell you some thrilling idea which i had experienced...
when ever you have a vacation to some place, you purchase a book from local book stall. then after completing your vacation,while returning to home, become a sales boy and sell that book on railway station or bus station..improve your communication skills...if you are lucky enough you can get some good friends also while doing so...it taken me 2hours to sell a book...i interacted with almost 15 people, one guy bought my book...i got great thrill at that moment...forgot to tell, among those 15 people, there are 4beautiful girls :) ...i enjoyed talking with them...so guys get ready to experience it....

Step 1 Summarize your Qualifications.


Summarize your qualifications by writing a summary paragraph that highlights your professional background as it relates to the needs of the company. Hiring managers need to see immediately that you have the skills and experience they need. If an employer has to figure out what you can do for him, the odds are you won't get an interview.



Over 15 years of diverse and challenging experience, combined with powerful presentation skills, a disciplined approach to the task at hand and the innate ability to anticipate potential obstacles are attributes that contribute to a strong record of excellence and acknowledgement for "getting the job done."



An accomplished senior executive with outstanding credentials and a proven record of results……Constantly progressed in an organization that demands a broad business perspective to achieve accelerated growth in sales and profits.



Fourteen years experience with a major international organization on a career path which supported increased levels of responsibility in the areas of management, communication and training.



Over 12 years of technical sales and marketing experience including: electronic component sales knowledge of Unix, Pascal, Sun work station, Fortran new software business start-up and market presentation international marketing penetration.



The Objective



There is much debate regarding the inclusion/exclusion of a job objective-use your judgment. It is usually placed right under the heading. The job objective is a targeted, brief description of the specific kind of job you are seeking: legal administrator, bookkeeper, medical transcriber, diesel mechanic, etc. Avoid vagueness here, if you can't be specific leave it off the resume. It should be specific to the point of repeating what the advertisement/announcement stated. Since you may need a different resume for each opening you locate, you may also need to change the job objective. You can always discuss your objective in the cover letter.



Do not assume that any job objective is better than no job objective. If your objective is vague or unfocused, you will appear unable to decide what you want to do with the next part of your life. Target it to the specific kind of job you are seeking, e.g., secretary, bookkeeper, sales representative, medical transcriber, backhoe operator, etc.



Example: Position teaching science and/or math at the secondary school level. Position within a financial institution requiring strong analytical and organizational skills. The profile is an alternative to an objective statement. It gives you the opportunity to present your strengths at the very beginning of the résumé.



Example: Profile Marketing...Finance...Management



Eager to contribute to the growth of a progressive company with quality products or services. Qualified by business education, customer service and administrative experience. Professional appearance and advanced interpersonal communication. Highly motivated, strong work ethic; available as needed for training, travel, overtime, etc. Financed 80% of college tuition and expenses; additional 20% through scholarships. In writing the major areas of your résumé, it is important to emphasize your abilities and accomplishments more than past duties. You may also want to indicate how well you performed. This will help infuse personal qualities such as character and personality into your résumé.



Step 2 Education



This category is particularly important if you have not had a great deal of work experience. Remember, your most recent educational experience should be listed first.



Include your degree (A.S., B.S., B.A., etc.), major, institution(s) attended, date of graduation, minors or concentrations, and any special workshops, seminars, related coursework or senior projects. A G.P.A. of higher than a 3.0 (either overall G.P.A. or G.P.A. in major) should also be noted here.



Step 3 Work Experience



If you are a student, recent college graduate or have limited paid work experience, but have been involved in volunteer, internship, practicum or student teaching work experiences, be sure to point this out to the employer. This is what your skills are and what you can do on the job. Be sure to include all significant work experience in reverse chronological order.



Note to teacher candidates: Be sure to include your student teaching experience on your résumé.

You should describe your work responsibilities with an emphasis on achievements using action words to communicate your skills. List the most important and related responsibilities first. It is sometimes useful to divide your work experience into two categories: Relevant Experience and Other Experience. You may want to add that work was performed to earn a certain percent of college expenses.


Example: Earned 75% of college expenses through the following part-time jobs



Step 4 Additional Information


This category is useful for displaying information that doesn't fit in any other category. Although Interests, Computer Knowledge, and Activities can be separate categories, especially if they are very strong, they can be listed here as well. Languages spoken, or any extra, relevant bit of information can be placed here as well.



Interests


This is sometimes used to evaluate your suitability to a geographic area or to understand your "personality type". Include this section if you have available space. Include social or civic activities, health and fitness or sports activities, or hobbies which indicate how you spend your leisure time. Computer Knowledge: If using computers is a necessary skill for the job you are seeking, be sure to highlight your knowledge in this section.

Databases: Oracle 8.x, SQL Server, Sybase


Client/Server: Power Builder 3.x/4.x/5.x/6.x/7.x, Visual Basic Oracle Skills: SQL, PL/SQL, Replication, Database Administration, Oracle Web toolkit

Activities, Honors, and Leadership are also important categories to include. If the activities involved work responsibility, note it in some detail. The employer is interested in the skills you have developed whether through volunteer or paid experiences. If you were elected to offices or committees, mention it. Recognition and demonstration of leadership roles are valuable.


Step 5 References

Be sure to ask individuals if they would be willing to be a reference for you prior to mentioning their names to prospective employers. Names of individuals are not usually listed on the résumé (unless there is space available at the end), but you should prepare a typed list of three references to provide at the interview. This list should include name, title, employer, address, business and home telephone number. You may also state at the bottom of your résumé "References furnished upon request."



Step 6 Power Words


Employers today want to know concrete things about you, and what you can produce. Most résumés today are filled with empty generalizations, failing to be distinguished in any way from the crowd of respondents. By beginning sentences with Action or Power Words, you are showing employers you are capable of tactical strategic thinking and have proven results. Here are some Power Words to get you started:

Step 7 The Cover Letter


Never send a résumé without a cover letter. The purpose of a cover letter is to express your interest in an organization and to request an interview. The opening paragraph must get the reader's attention and interest in your employment potential. This paragraph should also refer to the specific position sought and areas in your background that make you an attractive candidate for it.


The development section (usually one or two paragraphs) highlights specific aspects of your education, training, and experience that relate to the position or organization to which you are applying. It also refers the reader to your enclosed résumé for further details.


The concluding paragraph should request action by the reader. You should request an opportunity to meet with the person to discuss your qualifications and employment potential in greater detail. Include information on how you can be contacted by providing both day and evening phone numbers.

The Many Faces of God:



One glorious late afternoon krish and his mother sat cuddled together on the porch swing as they welcomed the serenity of dusk. The air was crisp and the sky was ablaze with the extraordinary hues of nature's palate. This was a special time they shared together. On this particular night krish was filled with wonder and curiosity as he turned to his mother and asked, "Mommy, what does God look like?" His mother looked at him and said, "The faces of God are many my love."





The night I met your father; The day we married and our souls became one; And the morning I held you as a newborn in my arms and gazed upon your angelic face; I knew what God looked liked.




The moment I watched a double rainbow emerge from the violent storm clouds; The daybreak when the morning sky was filled with magnificent shades of magenta, lavender, and sapphire; And the twilight when I witnessed the brilliant sunset illuminate the mountains; I knew what God looked like.




The evening you became very ill and I stayed up comforting you throughout the night; The moments I prayed for your healing; And the dawn when you awoke smiling and healthy; I knew what God looked like.




The day your beautiful sister was entrusted into our family; The moment I watched as you tenderly held her for the first time; And the instant you told her you were her big brother; I knew what God looked like.




The days when our whole family hugged and no one wanted to let go; The twilight when our loved ones joined the Lord in heaven; And finally, the nights when we, as a family, gave thanks for all the blessings in our lives; I knew what God looked like.




Krish interrupted and said rather impatiently, but Mommy you still have not told me what God looks like. His mother smiled and said, "My darling, As our days and nights unfold the precious moments we experience are woven together to form the fabric of our lives, each thread bearing the face of God. In every gift, in every challenge, in every blessing, in every obstacle, in all that is beautiful and all that is changing you can see God's face revealed. By being aware of God's divine presence in our lives, we will always know what God looks like."




Krish and his mother continued to cuddle on the porch swing as they watched day turn to night. As the sun disappeared over the horizon, the stars emerged one by one, glistening like diamonds against the deep blue background of the night sky. The heavenly constellations appeared and shooting stars began to race across the vastness of the universe. The air was filled with peace, love, and wonder as Krish turned to his mother and said, "Mommy, now I know what God looks like."

Why Can't I Touch The Sky?



My six-year-old daughter Sneha and I were playing a rhyming game the other day and out of the blue she asked me, "Why can't I touch the sky?" I laughed inside and thought for a few moments. I tried to explain it from the Jack and the Beanstalk story, but she just looked at me funny. Then I tried the old earth space thing, but that was too technical. The more I tried, the clumsier it got when finally I realized I wasn't getting through.




Then I had a realization. What if my daughter had asked the same question to another six year old? What would the other child have said? Some six year olds think they know the answer to everything and its fun to listen to what they have to say. Something tells me her friend wouldn't have the slightest difficulty in explaining the answer. Chances are, they would have argued and discussed it until finally reaching agreement. I wished I could have turned the question over to an imaginary friend and then sit back and listen to the conversation.



That night while lying in bed, I kept thinking about her question and why I couldn't come up with a really cool answer. Was it because I had "grown up" and now used my imagination like an "adult"? As I grew, the maturation process obviously had boxed me in. And worse yet... I knew that someday, my little girl just might lose her pure and trusting imagination to adulthood and maybe stop asking these wonderfully creative questions.


I didn't feel like it was right that I progressed up the ladder of maturity only to lose what I feel is a very important concept: the ability to retain and possess a childlike quality to explore other possibilities. Where did my childlike imagination go? Why did it go? I thought I would ask Sophie this question to help me understand why some adults tend to lose sight of this magical way of thinking and why others make a living by it.




She looked at me with a puzzle on her face and then I knew. It never occurs to her that there's any other way. Why on earth would a six-year-old little girl dream she couldn't touch the sky unless somebody told her she couldn't?




I watch my little girl as she plays. She conducts an imaginary reading class and makes sure each doll pronounces the words correctly. She dresses her babies and gets them ready for they're day. Her imagination takes wing each and every day to places I'm not aware. Sometimes I can catch a glimpse of her inner world when we sit and talk about her day or what her plans are for tomorrow.




Remember when we were younger, when we used to talk about and imagine what we would become when we grew up? I wanted to be a policeman and my friends wanted to be fireman and race car drivers. We believed anything was possible and we could become whatever we wanted, never doubting the possibilities. As children, we dreamed big.



Children are visionaries, and it seems a little sad to think our childlike imagination seems to disappear as we grow older. As we age, the ever-increasing intrusions of the world on our minds seem to frighten that childlike imagination into full-blown retreat.



As we grew up, we learned why the sky really is blue, and why grass is green. Why flowers need sunlight and how birds really fly. We lose a little bit of the wonder of life around us as we schedule the next meeting or plan tomorrow's agenda.



I have my daughter to thank for asking her question. It connected me, once again, with my priorities. She made me think about my own potentiality and how I may be limiting myself. Maybe I need to reconnect with my childlike imagination and think more outside the box of adult creativity. If I do that, maybe I can explain in my own six-year-old way, why she can... touch the sky.

There is an old story about a mountain climber who had trained many years to reach the highest peak in the western hemisphere, the Aconcagua located in the Andes Mountains of western Argentina.


He wanted all the glory for himself, so he climbed alone. Eager to reach the top, he did not prepare to camp for the night. Even though it was growing very late, he decided to keep climbing.


Soon the night grew cold, and heavy darkness fell around him at a very high altitude. There was no moon, and clouds covered the stars. The blackness around him was thick, and he lost all visibility.


As he was climbing a ridge only 100 meters from the top, he slipped and fell! Falling rapidly, he only saw blotches of darkness passing by him. He fell further and further into the darkness below.

Memories of his life raced through his mind in those moments of anguish. He thought that he would certainly die. Suddenly, he felt a jolt that almost tore him in half!

He had taken the precaution to stake himself with a long rope tied to his waist. In those still moments suspended in the air, he shouted out, "Help me God! Help me!"

All of a sudden, he heard a deep voice from heaven. It asked, "What do you want me to do?"

"Save Me!"

"Do you really think that I can save you?"

"Of course you can save me. You are God!"

"Then I want you to cut the rope that is holding you up."

There was another moment of silence and stillness. The man just held tighter to the rope. The next day, the rescue team said that they found a frozen mountain climber clinging tightly to a rope and hanging... two feet off the ground.

A person peers through the misty rainbow decorating a thundering waterfall hundreds of feet above an endless glacier valley. Her heart begins to race. Her experience has touched her beyond the physical senses. All of life's peaks and valleys can be transformative if we allow them to touch us deeply.



Sometimes we will feel as though we are "hanging on a rope," unable to see our way - unable to move. Then we must remember to act with faith. Life will always be a series of peaks and valleys. We can discover strength in climbing, and resiliency if we must "cut the rope" and begin again. Life on earth is an adventure with one chance to live it. That chance exists in this very moment. Seize it completely!
